Thai Nippon Steel Engineering & Construction Corp.,Ltd. was established in 1987 by Nippon Steel Corporation Japan and Italthai Group Thailand. Ever since, over 60 platforms have been fabricated and installed for offshore gas exploration/production in the Gulf of Thailand. TNS is involved in steel structure, process, piping, mechanical, electrical & Instrumentation for offshore platforms, bridges and on-land structure fabrication. There are presently 2 fabrication yards under TNS establishment, namely AMARA yard and BANGPAKONG yard. In view of our rapid work expansion, we are seeking capable, self-driven and energetic professional Oil & Gas design personnel for the following position to support our Oil & Gas sector EPC and fabrication business.
(1) Senior Process Engineer: Position Code – SCE04
Required skills/certificates: Must posses Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. Experience in conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design & engineering. HAZOP and design reviews, also pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and activities. Process experience will include onshore & offshore upstream oil production and gas processing facilities. Experience in conducting process simulations particularly with HYSYS is essential. Familiarity with Process Hazard / Risk Analysis is advantageous. Responsibilities will include development of PFD's, P&ID's, UFD's & data sheet including sizing and specification equipment & instruments.
(2) Lead Structural Engineer : Position Code - LSE04
Required skills/certificates : Must posses Bachelor 's/Master 's Degree in Structural Engineering/Naval architecture. Experience of 12 to 15 years of in conceptual, FEED, detailed design engineering and analysis of offshore structures like Jacket platform, FPSO is essential. Capable of leading the structural team, man-hour control , independently undertaking design and analysis assignments , a thorough knowledge of materials , specifications, design software - SACS or equivalent offshore analysis program and GRL WEAP is essential and should have worked as Lead Engineer. Must be familiar with relevant API, ISO, DNV codes and proficient with Noble Denton installation criteria. Exposure to construction related activities and cost/man-hour estimation will be an added advantage.
(3) Senior Structural Engineer : Position Code - SSE04
Required skills/certificates : Must posses Bachelor's/Master 's Degree in Structural Engineering/Naval architecture. Experience of 8 to 12 years of in conceptual, FEED, detailed design engineering and analysis of offshore structures like Jacket platform, FPSO is essential. Capable of independently undertaking design and analysis assignments , a thorough knowledge of materials , specifications, design software - SACS or equivalent offshore analysis program and GRL WEAP is essential. Must be familiar with relevant API , DNV codes and proficient with Noble Denton installation criteria. Exposure to construction related activities and cost/man-hour estimation will be an added advantage.
(4) Structural Engineer : Position Code - ESE04
Required skills/certificates : Must posses Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Structural Engineering/Naval architecture. Experience of 4 to 8 years in the engineering and analysis of offshore topsides structures and substructure is required. Capable of undertaking design and analysis assignments, a thorough knowledge of materials, specifications, design software particularly SACS or equivalent offshore analysis program is essential. Must be familiar with relevant API , DNV codes and proficient with Noble Denton installation criteria.
